Summer workshop

In the summer of last year me and some friends from university went on an self-organized drawing/ painting workshop to rural parts of Brandenburg. Three days of swimming in lakes, having a campfire, making music and of course drawing a lot!
All in all it was a very productive trip, but felt more like holidays : )
Here are some impressions of the place:

Here we had 5 minutes for each drawing:

And then just different styles and techniques:

Tiger Flipbook

A small flipbook, that I photographed und put together as a film. First I animated with pencil, afterwards I did the lineart with a brush and black ink.

Maggie

This was a christmas-present for my father: A notebook filled with illustrations of our dog Maggie, who is crazy for tennis balls. I wanted to try out different techniques and styles.

Let's start a blog!

Dear readers and random visitors,
as you perhaps gathered from the "about me" section, I am an aspiring animator and illustrator based in Berlin.
With this blog I will keep you up to date about the things I am working on, projects, and about what it is like to study animation at the HFF in Potsdam. My resolve is to update on a regular basis :).
I hope you'll enjoy reading it!
To start it of, here is a drawing of a deer-character:
